    We’re Moving

Well, after a year of questions and maybes and what-ifs, we know.  We're moving to the capital.  It's been an interesting year full of hopes, wants, disappointments, and now... relief.  We're excited. Trav has a great job working as a mental health counselor with children, teens, and their families.  I don't have a job as of yet.  I gave my notice to my school last week that I won't be signing my contract for next year.  That feels a little crazy.  I don't have a plan for me, yet I know this is a good move for us.
We've talked about moving in this direction for the past few years as our good friends Mike and Ginny live there, we like the area, and housing is affordable.  Now that it is actually happening, it feels wierd.  :) It's hard to leave Bozone.  I've been wanting transition and now that it's here, it's still hard.
We're apartment hunting now. As soon as we have a place, it may be easier. Trav really needs a place. He starts work June 2.  We'll have the place here until the end of June since I'm still working into June.  That will give me some nice time to pack and clean.
We're sad to leave here since we have so many great friends here.  :( But, we're off.

    Wee! Spring Break

This is the week of relaxing and just being. It is spring break for both Trav and I and we aren't going anywhere. Trav was originally going to be working on his big comprehensive paper for grad school, but he wrote the bulk of it a few weeks ago and is just making the minor proofreading changes. My mom and her husband came for the weekend and left yesterday. We have a good friend, Yohko, here for spring break and tomorrow will be the last we see her before she goes back to Japan. We rented a movie and ate pizza tonight. We're watching anime. :) We went fishing this afternoon in the 55 degree sunny weather. It was my first time fly fishing. It was fun. Trav is a good teacher and I foresee many pleasant evenings on the river this summer. And, tonight some very wasted hours changing minor things on my myspace page and blogging to justify those wasted hours. Ahh, this is more relaxing than a beach vacation. Haha

I suppose there should be some resume buffing too this week since trav and I are in the "I'm not sure what we want to do next year" phase. haha But not too much of that.

  • Xanga Tricked Me

So, that "blog" I made yesterday, was a scheme by xanga and an automatic message and I clicked on it before I realized what I was doing and it posted.  It changed my background too to these cheesy flowers and I don't know how to pick a better background. Would I really say, "I'm bringing xanga back, whose with me?" No, I never blog.  :)  Okay, that's my rant.  Thanks for caring.  See,.....now I did blog, for reals.  :)

....and since I'm on,  I will hint that there may be something big for Trav and I around the corner. And NO, I don't mean babies yet. We are seeing where God wants us this next year and let's just say, things have been crazy weird this week. Emotionally exhausting and in the end,  trusting  God.  We need prayers for guidance and direction and help with what step to take next.
